Helen Masacz is a figurative painter who lives and works in London. Masacz holds a BA Hons in Fine Art (2004) and a PGCE (2006) from Middlesex University. In 2015, she attended a drawing course at the London Atelier of Representational Art. Using narrative and the continuous practice of traditional skills to express contemporary culture, Helen’s work is constantly evolving. Recently her latest paintings reflect our cultural and environmental involvement in the Anthropocene era. In a way, painting carves a semblance of order, attempting to make sense of our increasingly visually stimulated lives.

Helen has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in 2004 and 2010 for the BP Awards and was then invited back to be a part of the Mystery Postcard Exhibitions.

Helen’s work is held in collections nationwide, including at Mansfield College, Oxford. Her commissions include The Right Honourable Lord Dyson, Principle Dr Diana Walford and Dr Paul McKenna.
